How to Join? 

Just come and meet us!!!
We meet in the centre of Milan on the second Tuesday of each month, from September through to June. We call this meeting our Main Coffee Morning.

• Should you wish to attend our Main Coffee contact the Newcomers Director or the Benvenuto President. We can then answer further queries that you may have. 
• The nearest metro is Moscova. There are a number of tram and bus routes that also pass nearby. 

What do you get with your membership? 

Our membership fee is 65 euros for a year. New members pay an additional 10 euros towards registration fees.

• Any person can attend our monthly Main Coffee as a paying guest once, and can similarly attend other activities during that month, before deciding to join. 
• Our subgroups (A.I.M. and O.A.) charge a small extra fee for people who want to join their activities. They also accept guests. 
• Students (between 18-26 years old) membership fee is 40 euros
• New members who join after Feb. 1 pay a reduced rate. The renewal fee for current members remains unchanged at 65 euros.

• The Benvenuto monthly magazine by post (if you leave Milan prior to June, you're entitled to receive the Benvenuto newsletter if you so desire upon leaving a forwarding address).

The Benvenuto Magazine 

This is published up to 10 times a year and is posted to your home address. It includes details of meetings and special activities which you can take part in. It also reports on places that other members have visited and recommend the important activities of the charities that we support with fundraising and voluntary work. There are useful tips to help newcomers to settle in to Milan and plenty to interest all tastes. 

Neighbour to Neighbor Coffee meetings: 

Milan is divided into zones and our club groups together people who live in each neighbourhood to meet once a month at each other’s homes. This is a very good way to find friendship and support as well as local information and recommendations. Details of these zones and the contact names and numbers will be provided on joining the club. 

Special Interest Groups: 

Various groups exist within the club, including Americans in Milan (AIM) and Orientals Abroad (OA), Book Clubs, Moms' Group, Garden Group and many more. 

Special Activities: 

The club organises various monthly activities such as trips to historic sites, luncheons, lectures, lessons, courses and tours. All activities are listed in advance in the Benvenuto Magazine and everyone is welcome to participate. Some activities require a fee to be paid to cover entrance costs, the cost of a professional guide or transport costs.

Charity Work: 

Many of our members find time to volunteer to help in some way with one of the Charity Organisations that we support. All the information you would need is contained in each month’s Benvenuto Magazine. Arriving in any new place can take lots of time and energy, however this is an excellent way to meet people, including many of our members who are Italian. 

Language Exchange Groups: 

We help each other, the groups meet at someone’s home. Half the time is spent speaking and learning Italian, the other half speaking and improving English.

FAWCO: 

Our membership of FAWCO (www.fawco.org) is an additional advantage to women whose lives take them to other countries around the world where they can easily make contact with similar clubs to make friends quickly.
