President
I was born in Milan and have spent my life here. My husband is German and we have two grown sons, I am twice a grandmother. I have a degree in Agricultural Sciences from Università degli Studi of Milan. My first job was a sociological research position with London University of Economic Sciences regarding the change of uses and customs following up the Riforma Agraria in Southern Italy. I worked four years for the Italian Branch of ICI (Imperial Chemical Industries) testing and developing new pesticides. Later, I joined the Swiss Firm Ciba Geigy. I left work after the birth of my second child but after returned as a teacher for technical subjects in the Italian Public Schools. Also, I was a consultant for the German Company BASF-Compo, which sold gardening products, and a freelance journalist. I joined the Benvenuto Club in 2002, and I was the Community Services Director in 2007-2009.
